SARAH & SEBASTIAN is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Ecommerce Trade Manager to help elevate our digital flagship into a true global brand destination.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day trade performance of our ecommerce channel - owning trading discipline, revenue growth, and digital experience optimisation. More than just sales, this role sets the tone for how clients around the world discover, connect, and shop with our brand.

Working at the intersection of luxury storytelling and retail performance, you’ll be tasked with driving conversion while building a platform that serves as the heart of our global brand experience. From exclusive content and service bookings to curated product journeys, your work will shape how clients engage across every digital touchpoint.

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, this position necessitates a strong technical grasp of systems, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimisation (CRO). Additionally, it requires the ability to foster productive working relationships with internal teams, key stakeholders, partners, and external agencies.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ecommerce Trading - Drive the daily and long-term performance of our global ecommerce channels—owning key KPIs such as revenue, conversion, and average transaction value (ATV). Lead with data-first decision making, executing a well-defined GTM trade calendar and ensuring commercial targets are met with precision.
  • Platform & Systems Oversight - Manage and optimise our ecommerce platform & software/API systems technology eg Shopify Plus, SearchSpring - while supporting system enhancements, integrations, and backend performance improvements to scale global operations.
  • Customer Experience & UX Optimisation - Champion a seamless and inspiring digital customer journey. Use behavioural insights and data to identify friction points, implement A/B tests, and deliver continuous improvements that drive engagement, satisfaction, and conversion.
  • Insights & Ecommerce Performance Management - Own all ecommerce reporting and insights, translating data into actionable recommendations. Monitor and manage channel budgets, oversee testing frameworks, and drive a culture of performance-led optimisation.
  • Team & Partner Leadership - Lead and develop the Ecommerce Executive, fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee agency partners across development and performance marketing, ensuring output is strategic, timely, and aligned with our brand standards.


ABOUT YOU

  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce or digital trade management, ideally within premium or luxury retail.
  • You've proven success in driving revenue and site performance in a DTC environment, with hands-on experience in Shopify Plus and analytical tools.
  • You are a strong planner, prioritise and project manager.
  • Proactive in exceeding expectations and efficient in resource management.
  • Collaborative and effective in gaining stakeholder buy-in.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of project management principles.
  • Communicates with finesse and understands human dynamics.

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team in our Alexandria Studio in Sydney, Australia.

As a Financial Accountant at SARAH & SEBASTIAN, you will play a critical role in strengthening the financial foundations of the company. You will be responsible for core financial processes, including month-end close, reporting, compliance, and financial analysis.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with the preparation of board and investor reporting packs. Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and ensure correct allocation of transactions.
  • Compliance & Statutory Returns: Ensure compliance with ATO obligations including BAS, FBT, PAYG, superannuation, and Corporate Income Tax. Liaise with external auditors and assist in the preparation of annual financial audits. Maintain internal controls, documentation, and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Process and System Improvements: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and procedures. Assist with system enhancements and finance automation projects. Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms (e.g., ERP, inventory).
  • Cross-functional Financial Support: Collaborate with departments to support financial decision-making. Provide timely, relevant financial insights and reporting. Educate stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Management of foreign currency transactions: Manage foreign currency reconciliations and payments and monitor and account for exchange rate impacts on transactions.

 

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and proactive financial professional with a strong understanding of accounting standards and tax compliance.

  • 3–5 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
  • Experience in a retail or product-based environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • CA or CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and tax compliance.
  • Advanced Excel experience.
  • Experience with ERP or integrated finance systems, ideally Xero
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Collaborative and proactive.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Confident decision-maker with a continuous improvement mindset.

SARAH & SEBASTIAN are seeking a dynamic, charismatic & experienced Senior Store Manager to drive sales and lead the team in our Flagship store in The Strand Arcade, Sydney CBD.

Reporting to our National Retail Manager you will drive retail trade, ensure operational excellence, build client relationships and grow our retail and services business to further success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead the retail and service teams to financial success through exceptional service.
  • Create a client-centric culture by personally developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Opportunity to manage, grow and develop your own store with the support of the National Retail Manager & Retail Director.
  • Be responsible for store operations with all company procedures including cash activity, WHS, security, inventory, logistics and reporting.
